Anybody doing their own out there?

along time ago I passed the CPA exam and would like to know how to do it... but it might take too much time to learn. Maybe I'll pay a CPA to do it for my first year as an investor and read it over and see if I think could do it on my own from there...

Or do you hire a CPA?

I have always done my own, even since I've been self employed... but I am thinking that if I create an LLC and start doing deals it will probably be a good idea to get a CPA.

What do you think?

Had an excellent meeting with Justin Silverio tonight. I think I have a legit buyer now and I am ready to start working on creating my business entity, getting the mechanics of the wholesale process down, and working on my marketing plan to bring him deals.

It was great to talk to someone that actually does many of the things I have been reading about. I will continue to network (going to another REIA meeting tomorrow) but I am getting close to taking some action.

Also, since I have started networking I have realized how few good wholesalers there are out there and how many people really want good deals. I know that if I can learn to get good deals I will be in really high demand. And finding good deals really is the key to all of RE investing, so I look forward to the challenge of becoming an expert at it.

written in 2005 so it is a little out of touch with today's market but I think it is a good overview

Sam Parkins keep us posted on what you find out. I found Lonnie Deals intriguing but have been scared off by the Safe act... curious to see what investors are doing about it.
