I am beginning to start my tenant checklist agreement that I will use once I have purchased a multi-family property. Are there any good templates out there today that can help guide me in creating my own? This is my first time doing this so any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

@Shaun ReillyThanks for the information. I had a feeling there would not be too many out there but I appreciate the reference. I'll keep my eye out over time too see if anything pops up!

Hi everyone,
I sat in on a webinar last night with Brandon Turner and got to speak to him briefly about buying in high priced markets like Boston. He suggested looking into HUD properties for our first multi-family. Does anyone have any information on those properties (things to look out for, advantages, disadvantages etc...). We will be financing through an FHA loan as well.
Also, if anyone knows where and how we can find these HUD properties in Massachusetts that would be great.
Thanks in advance!

I am seeking an experienced realtor in the Massachusetts / New Hampshire areas. We will likely be looking in the greater Boston area but we currently are living in NH.
I would really like to interview multiple realtors so I think this may be a good place to start looking for some. Please share!
We are going to be using FHA financing so experience with that would be beneficial as well.
Any and all information would be great.
Thanks!

Hi All,
Just wanted to introduce myself to the community! My name is Anthony Simboli and I am a new real estate investor from New Hampshire. I just recently graduated from college and have been working as a Project Coordinator for the past 2 years. I am working towards becoming a project manager and plan to apply those skills in my full time job to my investing. I am beginning my real estate investing in the greater Boston area where I ideally would like to live.
I look forward to working with you all on the forums and if anyone is interested in ever meeting up and talking real estate I would love to get to know some folks. My first property is planned to be a multi-family property where my investing partner and I plan to occupy the first unit and rent out the remaining units.
Have a great day!

@Chris Carolloand @Daniella W.thank you both for your input. I will definitely be looking into an inspector and general contractor before we buy. Also, thanks for letting me know about how we can go about requesting repairs through the inspector and working with the seller. Great tips!
Does anyone know any good resources in the greater boston area for inspecrots/GC's?
Thanks again!

I am fairly new the the BP forums but have been doing some research for quite some time. I was wondering if there is anyone on here who has done some investing in Multi-Family properties in the Greater Boston Area. If so, does anyone have any tips, or things to look out for? Any information would be greatly appreciated. I live in New Hampshire so I am not to far from Boston so I am familiar with the towns but not so familiar with the investing at this point in these locations.
Also, please note my partner and I will be occupying one unit and plan to rent the other units. We love being in Boston and with the FHA loan requirement we must occupy the building. We plan to hold this property for some time.
Thanks in advance!

Hi all,
I am going to be investing in my first multi-family house as a buy and hold (will occupy first unit and rent the other unit(s)). My partner and I are looking to purchase in the greater Boston area, so prices are pretty high. With that said, what we have found so far are a bit older. Our biggest concern right now that we are struggling with is understanding the life expectancy of things that could potentially have a big cost for repairs/replacements. Things we have thought of are roofs, furnaces, plumbing, electrical etc...
Is there any information out there that could help us out and are there any specific things that we can look for and ask when viewing properties.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
