Hi Vicki, welcome to BP.

This is a great place to learn. Make sure to listen to all the BP podcasts, read the articles on the main blog and be active in these forums to learn a ton very quickly about any topic in real estate you want to know more about.

This is also a great place to meet people that can be assets to your business. Lots of great connections all over but we also have a very strong and active contingent here in NH and MA on here so make sure to find them (Set up some keyword alerts to find out about local topics) and get connected.

Besides doing that on here make sure to get out to some of the many local investor events we have.  As mentioned there is the NHREIA in Manchester and Gal's event in Nashua for local NH events.  Lots of options in MA as well.  Besides the Black Diamond meeting.  They alternate between their Worcester and Waltham locations, Waltham is probably about 20 miles closer though might not save you that much time if you tried them :) .  Also would say to check out the NEREIA in Chelmsford, a bit closer and draws well from NH and the people that run it live in Sandown so can't be that bad of a commute.  :)

Besides doing that on here make sure to get out to some of the many local investor events we have. As mentioned there is the event in Peabody and they have another meeting in Danvers too I believe. There is also the NEREIA in Chelmsford and a little farther north the NH Real Estate Mastermind in Nashua. Going the other way my personal favorite is the Black Diamond meeting in Waltham (They alternate every other month with their Worcester location, next Waltham meeting is in May) and you can also check out the Boston Area REIA in Medford which would be a quick shot down 93 for you.

Besides doing that on here make sure to get out to some of the many local investor events we have.  You definitely would want to check out the NEREIA in Chelmsford, unfortunately you just missed the monthly meeting last Wed.  Another good one near you is the NE Real Estate Mastermind in Nashua, does get more NH people but definitely plenty of MA people there as well.  There is also the Boston Investor's meetup a good quarterly one in the Woburn area with the next one being June I believe.  My personal favorite is the Black Diamond meeting in Waltham (alternates every month with their Worcester location, next Waltham one is May), it is worth the drive.  Besides that there are a few options on the North Shore and lots of other stuff around Boston and South as well.

My favorite is the Black Diamond meeting in Waltham (alternates every other month with their Worcester location, next Waltham meeting is May). Other ones in and around the city are The Boston Wealth Builders in the city, the Boston Area REIA in Medford and the Boston REIA in Dedham. Many other options north and south of the city as well. As Ann said if you want to consider Springfield definitely drive out there a few times, and going to the Western Mass REIA (which is in West Springfield) will give you a good feel for it.

Besides doing that on here make sure to get out to some of the many local investor events we have. You should definitely look into the Eastern Mass REIA in Rockland if you are in Abington. My personal favorite is the Black Diamond meeting in Waltham (alternates every other month with their Worcester location, next Waltham one is May). The Boston Wealth Builders I believe have their regular meetings in Dorchester if you want to go to one in the old stomping grounds. Many other options around the city and both north and south of it.
