Cleaning fees should be comparable to other similar properties in your area. Cleaning fees shouldn't be changed unless it's a month-long stay, then the guest pays more which in turn is passed on to the cleaner. Unfortunately, cleaners may try to demand more over time and a new cleaner needs to be found.

If possible, I would recommend taping into some groups that could help you accelerate your growth. I always say to go follow different people that offer STR masterminds/courses on social media, and whichever one clicks for you and has similar goals consider joining the group.

Stay out of Kissimmee/Orlando area for sure! Tampa/Fort Myers area is good as well as other markets around the US depending on where you want to visit. Of course, I'm partial to where we operate, but Hocking Hills Ohio would fit your bill pretty close!

Google my business does not want the address for mailing but to verify the business is actually there. Once you go through their steps and get verified, you won't be receiving mail at the address. If you can set up an account with google business and have guests leave you reviews on there as well, that would be the biggest asset you could give your STR!

If your floor can handle a steam mop, I would definitely switch to one! I even had this problem in my personal home and a steam mop handled the issue,

I also have heard to stay out of Orlando right now, even breaking even would be very hard. So, if you're interested in the Tampa area, I would highly recommend you turn your attention to that location!
