I'm in CA but one of my best friends grew up in Galveston and I've been many times. She currently runs an Airbnb there and is killing it.

You are SO who I am aspiring to be! That is amazing. I've seriously considered getting my license -- though truthfully I'd rather simply have it and use it only for investing rather than actually selling real estate. 

How did you buy your first property? Just for savings? Or did you leverage an investor? I am really inspired by you and super appreciate you writing back!
