Post: Working on my First Wholesale Deal

Hi Guys,

I'm currently working on getting my first wholesale deal- as this is a great way for me to build capital. To start off I'm targeting zero to low-cost marketing to get my leads - like social media, driving for dollars, FSBOs, and real estate agents.

I was thinking.. is it possible that I could partner up with a real estate agent to help me find deals and when the deal goes well and I make the assignment fee- we would split the fee in half? Do you guys think an agent would agree to that? I just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy before I contacted an agent lol

Hey Guys.

One of my goals in the next 90 days is to purchase my first rental property! Anyone that knows me knows that I have been thinking and talking about real estate investing for TOO LONG its about time I left the fear and analysis paralysis behind. How should I best tackle educating myself?

There's so much information out there sometimes you feel like you have to read EVERYTHING before doing anything lol- I just want to get to a point where I feel confident and comfortable with the knowledge I've attained in order to take some action! I would love some pointers on the books, blogs, and videos I should focus on in order to achieve this goal.

Thanks All!!

@Gregory DeRosso yes its so hard to find a good deal but they are out there it will take some consistency. you got this! anything is possible

Hey Guys!

Currently saving all I can in order to get started. I live in New York and this is where I would like to invest - however we all know NYC is expensive but I'm pretty sure it is possible to be successful in NYC.

My question is-  is anyone an investor in NYC? Have you had success, failures, mistakes, lessons? I would just like to collect as much info as I can!

@Frank Geiger yes I'm definitely starting to save. What I mean was by the end of the money I will have $1000 saved so far! I know Im going to need a decent amount to begin investing. Wholesaling may also be a good way for me to raise capital as well. If i do my research correctly, I can find a few deals. Thanks the advice ! going to look into everything
