@Kumar Gaurav do you plan on being active in your investing or searching for more passive opportunities? That question should be answered first and will provide some clarity for possible investment options.

@Joel Johnson while you definitely need to research the various investment opportunities, please don’t miss the fact that you need to research the people you’ll become involved with equally. Happy to share some war stories where I’ve learned the hard way!

@Alexander G Garcia do you participate in any equity type lending? We build self storage and multifamily.

@Nathan G. In reference to your response on self storage. You are correct that finding deals is becoming more difficult, especially with a value add type asset. For this reason we have chosen to build from the ground up and currently have a 700+ unit designed for Portland OR. There are options to retro fit existing buildings as well. Let me know if I can assist in any way!

@Nathan G. we're in both multifamily and storage builds. The storage arena is underserved in quite a few markets and we're able to go both ground up and are also looking at conversion of big box stores that have gone out of business.

@Jacky Miller Exactly what @Wayne Brooks said. The bank will only look at one contract as they have the final say on acceptance.

It depends on the remodel your looking for, but they are extremely expensive and will be several thousand just for a refit of a tub. For a rental I would find a local reglazing expert and you'll save plenty of money by just making the tub look new. You can get a new surround at a big box store for $300 and have a contractor install.
