If I am building STVRs for guests they don t need a garage. As an owner/ investor its money saved and put toward another bedroom/bath.

There are storage rentals for my car.lol

Why do you need a garage for STVRs?

Don t mix investing with life insurance. I have never heard a real life true story from someone who got rich off of their life insurance policy....unless it was the agent/ salesman!

Most caterers I know have their own kitchen. You may want a staging room but a kitchen is not needed with its enormous costs.

@Joe Loschiavo, I was referring to tent like structures, far superior to tents. Shaped like a greenhouse, considered non permanent thus no different zoning required or code requirements. Because non permanent they are not subject to property taxes . They can be possibly leased from investors setting up a lease arbitrage/ short term rental situation without needing to provide home furnishings!

I don t own such a structure but farms and small businesses in WI do. I attended a Rose Bowl party where such a structure was erected to shelter 1,000+ people.

@Joe Loschiavo, did you consider portable structure in which things like a sprinkler system would not be needed? People have events all the time in portable tent like structures; church picnics, non profit group dinners, corporate parties.

@Denisse Lara, I would not recommend porta-potties, not for a classy stylish event. Get some portable bathrooms, similar to those used at PGA golf tournaments.

How many rv s can park on your property overnight without you needing a campground permit??? More income

@Denisse Lara is your "barn" already constructed? I know that temporary structures, think large, tall greenhouse type structures are considered temporary and not subject in WI to all the zoning regulations and code requirements of a permanent structure.

It s interesting how PM companies want 20% or more for management that is automated. When you ask a PM company to put their own skin in the game via a master lease with them at 10% they all decline. Makes one wonder if they are not confident in making a profit via a master lease agreement then why be confident in their ability in PM and marketing?

Before people dismiss condos as being unfavorable consider that a side by side duplex or triplex for STVRs are being used successfully in vacation destinations.

Yes, avoid HOAs if possible. There are many situations where there is not a HOA with a duplex condo.

Thousands of investors us their IRA or Solo 401k to invest in duplex,STVRs .
