my buddy has a couple dozen units and hired a full time contractor at $28/hr. He keeps him busy with flips in between keeping up with the units and it seams to be working out well for him.

where I live, most ppl will do carpet in bedrooms and laminate and tile everywhere else. Carpet smells "new" in the house, laminate looks nicer. Last house I did we did laminate in master bed, carpet in other 3 bedrooms, hall and stairs.
