they are saying the third party leasing company will not disclose the information because then the seller would know how much they are charging, it sounds very sketchy to me

seller is stating that a third party leasing company takes care of the rent agreements and thus will not disclose the actual rent income.  Is this normal practice?  I need to know exactly what the rents are to analyze the deal?

Hi guys, is it normal for a seller of a property to tell you they cannot give you the exact actual rent figures because the property is managed by a third party leasing company who will not disclose the information?  It does not sound right to me

we want to move to pittsburgh for a year, so, my plan was to buy downtown, live downtown, then go flip in other areas like lawrenceville, after a year most likely leaving the area so wanted to leave my downtown investment with a management company

Hey Jason, there is a guy I've read on subject to deals, his name is Joe Crump, check out is videos and he has a mentor program where he promises to complete one deal with you, I never took his course but he seems to be really knowledgeable specially on subject to deals, if you do end up going that route let me know how it goes

Hi all and sorry for the late response, I just wanted to reach out and express my appreciation for all of you, it feels good to be part of a community willing to help, I know that when I build as much knowledge of my own I will be looking to pay it forward... @Chris Clothier @Alex Craig @Wendell De Guzman and everyone else your discussion and advice is really appreciated

As a first time investor it is tough enough, but also as someone who likes to be in control, the whole investing from a far on the first go around is even tougher.  Your discussions have moved me closer to pulling the trigger but also more comfortable in my patience

thank you all!
