@Account Closed how is the process going so far? Property Management company operational yet? Just how much capital was necessary to get the business going?
Just starting into REI now, I love threads like this! They really showcase the diversity of real life finance. I am using a mentor at the moment who is really pulling me through the process.

@Account Closed sounds risky as! Only for investments like rehabs that are very close to completion and you are in a bind. I wouldn't recommend using this as your primary source of funding!

@Account Closed I live here in Fiji, and the costs of living and doing business are very low. I highly recommend it as a place to retire, though I am bias!

I am currently gearing up for my first investment, and am using the services of a mentor I met in my local community. Seeing the level of value he brings to the table, I would certainly be willing to give away equity in exchange for expertise.

Working up to my first major investment now, raising the seed capital slowly over time. I have picked up a few great tips on this site for how to make that happen. I would love to learn more about house hacking, sounds like just the ticket.
