@Achraf El Churafa thank you for sharing your story. I own 3 SFH in Miami and I manage 22 units for my clients. I dont feel ready to start investing in other states for the same reasons you had a hard time at the beginning. But reading your post is giving me something to think about: I may buy a property, hire a PM but I can still be involved with the whole process. Thank you! And congrats for making it work!!!

Excellent work! Beautiful details, LOVE the barn doors. Thanks for sharing your story. When I started in this business my father was the person doing most of the work. It was so good to work together but also it was an easier road for me. It was difficult to find reliable people in Miami but I think I am getting there. My father is retired now but he still takes care of my rentals in Argentina. I WOULD LOVE to learn to do some of the manual work and after reading your post, may be its time! Cheers

Congratulations!! I am an investor from Miami and right now the market is tight and overpriced. I've been looking at properties in other states but I dont know why, I dont feel comfortable. Thank you for sharing. The fact that you bought a out of state property as your first rental is impressive. I may follow your steps...

I am a Realtor and an investor. I list my own rentals on the MLS and on Craigslist and to be honest, I usually find the right tenants on Craigslist. With the right screening procedures you can do it yourself.

Thank you Scott! I am planning to add a couple more this year and I read we should b professional since the beginning. I've been trying to find one already written but no luck yet.

What kind of rentals do you have? Any advice about rentals for students in the Orlando area? Thanks again!
