@Tim Mason I'm happy to connect you with a local SEC lawyer, who is also very affordable (he lives in LA). It doesn't really matter where they live (though it's nice to actually meet with them face-to-face).
@Arthur Fuller II
Still in the wholesale business ?

@Marco Felix
Nice work. I bought a duplex in LA and did the place up and rented the place and got money out.
I would love to connect and discuss numbers. Love to hear details of your story.
Cheers

REAL is fairly new I think. They operate in 21 states and have 1200 agents. They are on Canadian stock exchange. Ask me in a couple of months, I can provide better insights.

Awesome! Good luck getting started! I wish I would have started younger. However, I don't know about the REAL brokerage, their website and name (and tech tools) is a bit off for me. What tools are they using now? (CRM, transactions, etc.) I have my conference call with the eXp rep tomorrow, so we'll see. I may just keep my own brokerage as is. :)

@Amy Rose Yes I sat my exam and passed. After looking around for tech savvy and profit sharing brokerages, I ended up signing up with REAL brokerage. They are quite similar to EXP but lesser fees and caps and better commissions that you keep. Look up joinreal.com if you are interested. They have been very responsive which I liked. ExP weren't responsive which disappointed me.
That's my current observations / experience so far.

This is a lot of information on eXp. I am sitting my RE exam in August and researching what brokerage to join. So far KW and eXp are coming out on top.
I am tech savvy and am looking for more information on the ease of technology the two brokerages use. Is it easy to use the tech to get leads etc? I want to hear more about the online marketing that is done to get leads.
I would love to chat with any realtors based in Los Angeles (North Hollywood, Burbank, Glendale, Studio city areas) and get your perspective as well.
Thanks
V

Thanks. I see you are a RE agent in SD. What agency are you with? And would be interested in hearing about your thoughts on the market as it stands.
