Post: Texas Mortgage Rates

Good afternoon -

If you have kept up with the news, you probably have heard that mortgage rates are hitting record lows. The reason for the email is twofold…first, if you have a mortgage, it probably makes sense to check with and see if a refinance makes sense.

Secondly, most of you know someone with a mortgage, and I encourage you to mention this rate environment to family, friends and customers. I asked my mortgage department to send me current rates for today, which I have highlighted below. We have an incredible Mortgage Division and I encourage you to refer anyone you know who might have some interest in looking at a refinance or even a purchase.

Conventional Terms
- 30 Year Term
> Rate – 3.875%
> APR – 3.981%

- 15 Year Term
> Rate – 3.125%
> APR – 3.310%

Thanks and have a great weekend!

Bill

*APR - Annual Percentage Rate. Maximum loan amounts and other restrictions may apply. Ask for details. Some products may not be available in all states and rates applicable to Texas properties only. Credit and collateral are subject to approval. This is not a commitment to lend. Programs, rates, terms and conditions subject to change without notice. Terms and conditions apply. Rates and APR are based on a $150,000 Loan Amount with 0 Discount Points, qualifying credit score of 720 or above, and Loan to Value of 80% or less. NMLS# 439822

@Brian Sachs A Line of Credit is used for SHORT term financing, while a term loan is designed for LONG term financing. I would encourage you to shop around for a more competitive rate on the Home Equity Loan. Best of luck!
