Steven Frankel don't be mistaken with cheap properties with good investments. It all comes down to the rent to value ratios to determine. Rent to value ratios and mutually exclusive from prices. A 500k home in green lake will rent for 0.5% and. 350k home in LakeChitty will rent for the same 0.5% with minor deviation from that percentage.

Tyler Hill I agree with Steve B. No emotion just numbers. I'm from Seattle which is pretty much the same in the macro sense as Pdx. I wrote a post about this on my blog but it basically came down to the ROE on the property and what other options do you have if you sell and run away with the cash to do other things.
