@Will Fraser

I really appreciate all your help, Will. What are some things I can do to add value for a realty team?

@Aaron T.

As a consumer, I think it's a really cool idea and I would enjoy staying there once it's fixed up.

As an investor, make sure to do all your due diligence. I have a feeling getting people to stay here will cost more in marketing than your average STR listing would.

@Will Fraser

Thank you for the advice on networking. I've got a family friend who is a realtor, so I'll start there.

But, How does one network over bigger pockets without meeting people?

Hi there! I was going to start investing this year and then got laid off due to COVID, so I don't have the income to qualify for a loan even though I've got a down payment saved up. I need to get a new job, but I'm hoping to get one related to real estate investing to deepen my knowledge, but I'm not sure working as a full realtor is the best plan. If I could ask for some guidance, that would be amazing!

Who do Realtors hire for their team?

How do you look for those positions? Indeed?

Are these positions usually commission based like Realtors, or are there W2 jobs as well?

My realtor recommended using a condo as a first investment, but I don't know anyone who lives in a condo. I was wondering if anyone knows about resell-ability of condos in DFW? I plan to BRRRR it, so I wouldn't be selling it for a while at least. Any insight would be helpful! Thank you!

I'm interested in tax auction houses because they're cheap. However, I read a book about big mistakes to not make in real estate and it talked about not buying tax kittens without knowing a ton about them. But how much should I listen to that advice? I'm a brand new investor.

Do everyone always says they send letters to property owners, or knock on doors, but what if it's a vacant property? How do you find contract information for those owners?

@Yonah Weiss

I graduated in 2018 with a double bachelor's in Music and German and a minor in Technology. Not sure if the first two will ever be of any use, but the third one is definetly helpful!

Post: How to get financing without a W2 job?

Hi there! I have about 30k set aside just for our first investment, but don't have a job to qualify for conventional loans. We're planning on flipping the first investment and using those proceeds on our second investment, then repeating but renting out the third investment. I had a job but due to Corona, was laid off.

Do you have any recommendations for how to finance our investment in this situation?
