Franklinton, Merrion Village, Hungarian Village, Southern Orchards, Driving Park, Olde Towne East, Franklin Park, King Lincoln, Old Oaks, Livingston Park are all but not limited to some areas in Columbus, Ohio I think will gentrify quickly and make for great long term buy and holds. I am always down to talk about real estate investing in Columbus, Ohio. I started off with a duplex in 2020 and now have a solid portfolio of rentals with my partner. Let me know how can I help.

Hi Christopher, there's a lot of investment opportunities for multifamily properties available in Columbus, Ohio, including apartments, duplexes, and townhomes. As you consider investing in a multifamily property, it is crucial to look for areas with potential for growth. This could include neighborhoods undergoing revitalization, new businesses moving into the area, or planned developments that could lead to an increase in property values and rental demand.

I have personally been investing in small multifamily properties in Columbus for the past 2 years and have found that the cost of entry is low while the cash flow is high. Additionally, Columbus is the only Ohio market that has experienced rapid growth in both jobs and population. Let me know if there is anything I can do to assist you in your investment journey.

Adding to the list, you may consider Ohio. I have several areas in mind that I believe will experience rapid gentrification and make for profitable long-term buy and hold properties. These include North Linden, South of Main, Vassor Village, Woodland Park, MT Vernon, Milo-Grogan, Franklinton, Merrion Village, Hungarian Village, Southern Orchards, Driving Park, Olde Towne East, Franklin Park, King Lincoln, Old Oaks, and Livingston Park. As someone who has successfully flipped properties with my partner in this market, I would be happy to share my insights with you. Let me know if I can be of assistance.

Hello Hnu,

Starting in the Midwest can be a smart choice, as the entry point is often lower and there are many opportunities for cashflow. One city that stands out in this region is Columbus, Ohio. This city has experienced significant growth in recent years, fueled in part by the presence of tech giants like Intel, Meta, Amazon, and Google who have invested billions of dollars in the area. This has led to an increase in property prices and a growing population seeking employment opportunities.

In addition to Columbus, other cities worth considering in the Midwest include Cleveland and Dayton. Both have their own unique advantages and can offer great potential for real estate investing. It's important to do your due diligence and research the local market, as well as establishing a strong network of professionals to support your investments.

Ultimately, the best deals are the ones that align with your investment goals and provide a good balance of cashflow and potential for long-term growth. With the right approach and a solid understanding of the market, you can find great opportunities for success in the Midwest and beyond. I can share with you some insights about these markets. Let me know how I can help!

Hey Rolando, I prefer to start in the midwest, because the entry point is much lower and cash flows the best. As long as you develop your Core 4 like David Green’s mentioned in his long-distance investing strategy (realtor, contractor, property manager, and lender), you should be able to invest anywhere with confidence. I buy in Columbus, Ohio. Columbus has experienced so much growth for the past few years, partly due to the influx of tech giants like Intel ($20 billion), Meta, Amazon, and Google building warehouses and data centers in the area, which has contributed to an increase in property prices and more people moving into the city for job opportunities. I also invest in Cleveland and Dayton. Let me know how I can help!

Hi Troy, I recommend starting with a turnkey cash flow rental. It’s the simplest way to get a feel of what it is like to be a landlord without going through the hassle of managing rehab projects. I started purchasing a small multifamily in Columbus, Ohio 2 years ago. The cost of entry is low while the cash flow is high. I also invest in Cleveland and Dayton. Let me know if you are considering these market, I can send you a list of contacts in Ohio to help you build your team. Let me know how I can help you.

Hi LaShawnda, I recommend you read this article on OOS investing. It explains the importance of creating your core four. You will need to get a local, rockstar Realtor, contractor, lender, and property manager.

Hi Jyothi, Ohio is a great choice. Columbus, Ohio is a great market to pick up rental properties because of the lower home prices and demand from renters. JPMorgan Chase, Nationwide, Honda, L Brands, Huntington, and Amazon are just a few of the many companies that have thousands of jobs in the city. New Albany is home to several major data centers including ones operated by Amazon, Google and Facebook, whose parent company, Meta, announced plans in the spring to expand its New Albany campus.

I can send you a list of contacts in Ohio to help you build your team, property manager. Let me know how I can help!
