Hi Misty! I'm new to real estate investing myself and recently moved from Winston-Salem, NC to Durham, NC. As far as North Carolina is concerned, my research has turned up the Charlotte, Winston-Salem/Kernersville, Raleigh-Durham, and Fayetteville areas as being the best places to invest. I know that Winston-Salem really seems to be booming, as my realtor in that area has never been busier! She mentioned that she believes the Charlotte area to be the best place to invest in the state right now. The Fayetteville area is more in my price range at the moment and I actually submitted my first offer on a rental property last night! What sort of investing are you interested in?

Post: Wholesaling Land with House Foundation

There is a property where a house used to be, but it appears to have burned down a few years ago, from the images I can find online. The foundation is still present on the property, but nothing else. Is it possible to wholesale the property? I assume the buyer would have to be someone who would be willing to completely rebuild on or possibly excavate the current foundation.

I have also attempted to contact a few homeowners with cold calls, but keep getting "number not valid". Any suggestions on where to find correct/current information?
