I'm almost finished with the book and I must say that it has changed my perspective on money.
Although it is obvious that some parts are embellished, it accomplishes its objectives for the reader. The whole purpose of the book is to get people to change their mindset about money and the only way to do that is to make it interesting and exciting.
This book has only further increased my excitement about investing in real estate and/or anything else.

Thanks for the advice! I've been looking for REI clubs near Waco and have come to the same conclusion. Being a student there's a little more flexibility in being able to travel to Austin or Dallas for a club. For the ones that you have gone to, how long do they typically last?

Anyway, BP is the right place to get started. Dive on in and plug in to any local REI meetings to network.
Thanks Chris. I still have a couple years before I can invest in a property and Waco is definitely at the top of my list to start looking.

Good luck!

Thanks James! I'm about to start reading "Rich Dad, Poor Dad". Heard it was good!
