Hey Yaron,

I operate in the Detroit, MI area and can offer wholesale properties as well as contacts for turnkeys and project managers for flipping.

I would like to hear more about what you are looking for.

Post here or send me a direct message.

Cheers,

@Chuck Williams Do you have areas of specific interest in Metro Detroit?

@Jason Robles - PM me - I might have a project manager contact that can help you out.

@Luke Diem - What banks have you tried? See if you can get a real estate agent referral to a local bank.

@Account Closed

That is great insight. Looking for the things that cannot be replicated by development. ie, water access, zoning protections, and perhaps proximity to other landmarks.

Thank you for your feedback.

Hey @Robert Garcia

I'd be interested to hear about your thoughts about helping people in poor economic environments learn about financial freedom. Do you think real estate is a good avenue for that? Or are you thinking outside of REI?

Curious to hear your thoughts.

@Joseph E. I know guys in Royal Oak who buy small houses, add a second story, and then sell for a profit. I think their are a lot of opportunities like that in certain high demand areas.

PM me if you want to chat about the area. I am new to REI but I'd love to discuss more about what you're working toward.

Fire Up Chips! New to REI but meeting a lot of people in the industry right now. If you want to know about some interesting investors in the Detroit/Metro Detroit area then shoot me a message.

There are a lot of family funds in West Michigan and in Birmingham, MI areas where you can find some potential work.

Bedrock and Basco are two management companies doing a lot in Detroit. Could give you a feel for the area while you are buying.

@JD Martin

@Jim Carneyundefined

I just started looking into REI over the last few weeks and these conversations are more educational than I could ever have dreamed. I always appreciate people who are willing to shed a little wisdom.

@Account Closed How do you go about measuring the potential appreciation of a property. Is it just a matter of neighborhood and comp properties or are you using a tool/rule of thumb?
