Exit strategies are solid and numbers are as good and often better then what TSP will offer.Have you looked at purchasing 3-4plex units with your VA loan and using one of the units as your primary residence and letting the tenant's pay your mortgage while you pocket the difference and save up for your next purchase?!

There were so many cabins and not very man residents, so the service providers in that area felt they didn't need to do a good job but still had you over a barrel, if you know what I mean.

My plan is to make my current residence a 3 unit STR/MTR and repeat the process in Vancouver.

Even then, it can be beneficial because a lot of times in Waco, you need to be living at the primary residence in order to establish an ADU or secondary residence to Airbnb.
