Passing legislation is generally not an easy process and speaks to the level of annoyance that people feel when confronted with these types of advertising. 

I get that it probably earns you a lot of views, but this sort of super confrontational attitude is doing us no favors in the long run.  

Do not confront your tenants directly!

Confrontation is difficult, but keep in mind that they are used to it, and won't take it personally.

If they are doing it at the same time in broad day light... confront them. 

I call police when I see squatters - I don't confront them myself.  

When I confronted him that these were fraudulent charges and I wasn’t going to pay, I told him if he kept harassing me, because he’s calling me five times in a row at three in the morning telling me to give him his money, I was going to press charges and take him to court.

Discussing this with your daughter before confronting the son in law will put her in a tough spot.
