We usually look for all brick with good bones, structure, layout and Mechanical’s  that only needs Cosmetical repairs and updating of things like Vanities, carpet, paint and fixtures etc. 

Other than that the only thing that is really broken in the house is the garage door opener.Our plan is get into an even cheaper home for the next one with a little more meat on the bone and repairs needed.

can anyone suggest  neighborhoods to find diestressed properties with some meat on the bone?

The bones are good but there is just a ton of stuff to do and redo.

So to me regardless of how many nice finishes they put into the rehab there should still be plenty of meat on the bone for this one for everyone to walk away happy!

There's not enough meat on the bone on that deal no one would be interested just my opinion.

Good neighborhood, good bones, good price, easy rehab.
