My point is not to look at it from an investment perspective, but most Americans wealth is tied to their real estate, and if you offer a solution or a product that prolongs that wealth building, you essentially keep people poorer longer.

My handling of such cases is to get the property under contract, do my inspections, get quotes - and then adjust my offer price reasonably if/as needed based upon those results.
