However, some people are gluttons for punishment and they enjoy the hassles of being landlords and cleaning toilets.If we have 20,000,000 to 30,000,000 illegals "consuming" rental space, there's your problem.There are all kinds of reasons the numbers tell the story, it's just contrarian stories that special interest groups attach to it, to make it seem like solutions are more ADUs, apartment buildings and condensed housing.

But think of it this way, if they want to spend the national average of $7,000 just to prepare to list on the MLS, pay an agent or agents a total of an average of 6% and get an offer that requires a concession average of 2% plus have people trapesing through their house for 60 days to 90 days, and be ready to show on a moment's notice at odd times of the day, then they are gluttons for punishment and I let them squirm in their discomfort of selling on the MLS.
