Before you move the thermostat you could go a slightly less expensive route of a smart thermostat which would allow you to "monitor" the temperature remotely.

No clue but i would like to live somewhere with an avg yearly summer temperature of 80 degrees, a beach, mountains and good food

Pretty cold down here in Orlando/Four Corners area - well, not the temperature, but certainly the booking rates!

Because they pull heat energy from the outside air most basic heat pumps are able to generate heat with an outside air temperature range anywhere from 25-45 degrees.

If they cannot produce a receipt for the hotel, I would give them each $50 or $75 off next months rent.I just looked at the temperature for your area, the tenants have a legitimate complaint.

Our state guidelines say we must maintain a temperature of 65 degrees.
