Having access to the MLS isn’t life-changing, and the additional liability that comes with being a licensed agent in Texas is something to seriously consider.That said, I’ve been able to use the commission from acting as the agent to cover my share of the initial capital when buying with my partner, saving me 4-5 months' worth of savings.For me, the biggest benefit has been discovering how much I enjoy working with investor clients.
