If it's someone down on their luck who needs a hand, no problem, there are private charities for that. 

Lots of great answers here, but these are mine:1) To be able to have a bigger impact on more people in this world, primarily though supporting Christian-based charities, and missionaries, through investing both time and financial resources.2) To enable my teenage son to a) pursue whatever he is passionate about in life, whether it pays well or not and have a significant impact on others.  

Lastly, keep giving charity regardless of our limited budget. 

We are also keeping our website updated with assistance programs and resources for housing, fuel assistance, food pantries, local charities, even links for the furry family members.Many of our residents have expressed great gratitude for us stepping forward to help them out.

I support the military . here I am working hard starting our charity aheroshome.org so we can give away a home to a deserving first responder veteran.and on the other side you have folks. 

We also have been in business 20+ years locally and have 100+ Google Reviews accompanied by Yelp, Angie's List and Facebook reviews also, along with many local charity projects published in local newspapers.A company with this much good publicity is easy to gauge and justify the 50% deposit. 

I want to live comfortably and know that my standard of living is not necessarily correlated with my job.I want to start a charity, and make a positive impact on those I know and those around me.

I had a 2004 Prius before that and drove it to 240k miles before it died and I donated it to charity.2 members of my family have the model S and they love it.

Today I had a call from a charity she has approached for help with her rent.I have decided not to offer her a new lease.
