You got to have a thick skin as people here won't agree with everything you say.

I have a much simpler strategy that doesn't require any fancy charts: buy when you find a great deal in a great neighborhood that you can reasonably afford to hold through thick and thin.

It is glue down thick vinly/rubberized plank flooring that is very easy to install and almost indestructible. 

It is 6.3 mm thick, waterproof core and under layment, and locking joints. 

I suggest 13 mm or even 25 mm thick materials planks.

It's enticing to buy the cheapest vinyl flooring possible (I found it as low as $.79/sqft for 2mm thick), but that stuff will wear down and you're looking at a hefty replacement expense when it inevitably needs replaced.
