But I did not do plumbing (no indication it was needed), new roof (no indication it was needed), or new windows (they could have benefitted from replacement but the return was not there so it has old windows - I got quoted and cou)d not justify the expense.We replace what adds value before the refi.

Currently, there are no requirement in Michigan or Detroit to replace lead pipes. 

It's painful to see a house that was renovated and rented, to then be torn up by jackhammering through the slab in multiple places so that the sewer lines could be replaced.

I'd rather it be gone than be a cheap replacement.  

I'm tired of asking them for corrections and want to find a replacement.

Be careful that you are not being penny wise and pound foolish as cheaper providers do not have the safeguards necessary to protect your funds.  

Theysaid that our 2 year old roof needs replacing, our one year old HVACis improperly installed, and that our perfectly working septic systemalso needed to be replaced along with lots of other newer items.I guess they wanted to knock the price down $50,000 or maybe a lotmore. ....

Also can a project manager fill out a scope of work and I just sign off on it would that be wise since they would know better?
