In CA land prices, regulations that push up costs to build, fuel prices that affect everything manufactured and shipped on trucks or trains, regulations imposed on employers that push labor costs through the roof, insurance costs, make it very difficult to build new.

May 1982 I had $300 and a truck I bought for $100.  

This amounts to six automobiles, likely trucks, along with several utility trailers in addition.

Other than that we purchase furniture from sellers when we know we will be at the house and pick up with a rented pickup truck while we are there  There are alot of people seĺling beautiful furniture in Florida,, just because they want something new and you can get some nice, durable pieces.or like Mike said Costco always has great stuff and free shipping. 

There have been occasions in July where we have had to have water trucked in to fill our water tanks.

My first move is to sell my truck, buy a cheaper car, and put the leftover money toward saving for a down payment.

Took a while for us to get the Cement Pump truck to come pour (month). 

It wasn't personal toward anyone here, I've been around a lot of guys with a truck, a magnetic sign and a ladder rack who think they are more entitled to what they really are. :)

My wife and I have invested in severa beer gardens/food truck parks and bought our first LTR last year.
