Some areas of Derwood and Silver Springs don’t have the best school ratings (but subjectively I hear from the patently the schools are great).Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I may be a bit biased over here as being an Electrical Engineer (semi-conductor to be precise) and involved in multiple patents and innovations myself, I just can’t stand people running away and casting. doom scenarios at the first sign of distress.

Turn you idea into a real system or device or whatever it is and get it patented. 

That is patently false.

My dad's an engineer, my brother's an architect and I am patent pending on my first product, with 30+ other ideas behind it, but I also feel fortunate to have the sense of chutzpah to pull the trigger on deals and not get the deer-in-the-car-headlights syndrome.

I already had a spreadsheet to run numbers but the presentation from the calculator is excellent and simple.I am an attorney (patent) and I am new to real estate investing, but have done a few things over the years.

This is why I get pissed off when we get into these discussions about morality and fairness and everyone here with a buck to make off of being considered honest gets up on their high horse and starts their patented speechifyin'-preachifyin' bullcrap about The Ethics of Being a Realtor™ and suchlike.
