i would just caution you about picking a random property in Ohio and buying it. 

Again, whatever, but I had some straggler payments from my business and upon setting up the ACH for the last like 3 payments my new bank is now doing random holds on ACH transfers for "fraud" protection.

This feels like divorcing your current awesome spouse just because you found some interesting things in some random person on the street! 

The image that comes to mind is that of the riots, and that seems so very far fetched today despite everything that's taking place.

I have no issue finding houses, but I'd rather have a connection and develop a business relationship with an investor rather than have to struggle on every sale to find different people.I feel like reaching out to people is something that doesn't work well at random anymore and I have a few people I have built relationships with and enjoy working with them, but they obviously can't buy everything I find especially with the mass volume I find every day (around 60 a month).Does anyone have any recommendations for connecting with people and building a business relationship list with so that I can not only sell to them, but have it be reliable on both ends?

I might have tried it once or twice to ask about random questions but still would not know how to have it write a reply and then how to get it on to BP.. that takes some computere skills i dont have.I wouldn't worry too much about it.

They said they all have to be friends and know each other beforehand, and that you can’t throw random people in a home to rent out.

I don't randomly encourage tossing around thousands.

I think you know this but for others books on risk like "Black Swan" or "Fooled by Randomness" by Nassim Taleb are excellent reads.
