One tip I’d share is to really focus on understanding your local regulations and market demand first — a lot of beginners get excited about potential profits but run into hurdles if they don’t know the rules.Connecting with someone who’s actively running STRs in your area can make a huge difference.

But tenants don’t walk into a rental asking if it’s block or wood—they ask if it’s safe, clean, and in the right neighborhood.Wood frame, on the other hand, gets unfairly hated on.
