My favorite long term money savers are a false floor / drainboard (higher in the back)under all sinks so any leakage will get on the floor instead of rotting out the cabinets.I also apply poleurathane varnish under all laminate / particleboard countertops and new cabinets so everything is pre-sealed against water intrusion.

Then, my second property......was a totally different story.Lesson 1: Don't scale too fast.OK, going from one property to two may not be impressive scaling, but I got a false sense of security from how well property #1 went. 

Also this false bravado about $50/month is foolish.

You are obviously making up numbers to help falsely state your case.

Literally just google false statistic in the news and you will find hundreds of thousands of results that people actually believe.

Don't know if you're still here reading responses, but if you are, your choice here is a false dichotomy.

I would target their rebukes with well formulated questions that cause them to examine their own false biases.
