The back history: St Cloud market began a landlords paradise, so naturally more and more landlords flooded into the market and with that more and more slum-lords.

But, I acknowledge that my ambition and the amount of resentment I hold for my current job might be clouding my judgment. 

At least if you fall short, you land in the clouds.

Allowing the "idea" of rental cash to cloud your judgement when the simple math is staring at you, will keep you poor. 

We also have the Saint Cloud metro-plex which is a satellite Market too the main Twin Cities market.
