I just sent out my first set of mailers to absentee owners. can anyone give me advice as to screen calls for possible leads or just a series of questions that you normally would ask. like the header says any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks guys and gals

I would keep the wall between the ceiling and the header in the doorway.I would like the breakfast bar to be higher than the counter so I could use bar stools.What sorts of issues could I run into by doing this myself?

I dropped in a 7ftx5ft window in the old rotted out bay window opening (picked it up at Bargain Outlet for $98), yet the small upper bathroom window cost $185 to avoid destroying the old marble window sill & header

You need detailed measurements so you can accurately estimate your materials for each building component, down to the last screw - I assumed a 4 room structure, the costs will go up a tad if there are more walls in the layout.I can tell from the pics that the framing is not all done - you have a header dangling out there without support.
