Here's where I put a plug in for Vicki Robin's "Your Money or Your Life", the book that most profoundly transformed the way I looked at money.

This is what sparked our journey to get some discipline in our lives and try to gain some financial freedom. 

There has been several times where we need a few hundred thousand in unanticipated renovations, generally to transform the property into it's best and highest use.In my 21 years of Partnering, which has been a huge success, I value honesty and responsibility to be the most important part of the Partnerships.

I buy wipers & spark plugs & brakes online & any other part I can & use local mechanics who work from their homes or an occasional shop for oil change, etc.

It has sparked some new initiatives across the country.

Urban neighborhoods have become more popular over the last 15+ years, sparking what some call gentrification. 

And if you are running electric from a pole, it needs to have a transformer on it (add ~9k for a transformer).

I so admire your artful transformation, your tenacity and your honesty in posting about your foibles and missteps along with your great success.

@Jason Pritchard - congratulations on you taking action and transforming it into $$$$This gives you more knowledge to utilize in the upcoming projects and determination to to excel.
