I think your journey needs to start off with the question: what is my goal in getting into real estate; and realize that real estate is usually a get rich slowly process where you will make more money on long term appreciation than you will on $200-300/month cash flow.

Good question, Tim, this trips up a lot of investors.Most banks will only refinance in your personal name, which is why people either (a) keep it in their personal name until after the refi, then deed it back into the LLC, or (b) work with lenders who allow entity loans (usually portfolio or commercial lenders).
