There has been no protection for me as the homeowner for misused funds by the contractor or HUD Consultant and my lender refuses to assist in any way.I would not recommend the program as it could ruin someone’s life after all the hard work they’ve put into trying to buy their first home.

It's just silly a landlord is held accountable for the tenants misuse/mistakes.

It may be tenant misuse or it may be something like a toilet that never stops running that goes unnoticed.  

The nefarious connotation you imply simply isn't mainstream.I'm as big a critic of misused language as anyone, but in this case, I think your understanding of the term "hacking" is out of line with the rest of society's.

There are people who misused their IRAs and lost money are a result of making poor investment choices or violating the rules and getting their IRAs disqualified, therefore losing money to taxes and penalties.

Follow up air tests came back perfect, and we now have what looks like a brand new house rented out for an extra $200/month.Summary: tenants caused a mold issue due to misuse of the dryer.

As a former teacher, I've seen how bad things have become in the past decade, and it isn't going to get better any time soon.What's worse is that popular culture is embracing the misuse of words and the media propagates it as well.Its the dumbing down of American Society, and it is happening in front of our very eyes.
