Hello all, I was curious if anyone here has a STR around the Land Between the Lakes (LBL) area on the border of KY/TN.

It's the cities that border Detroit that you can buy: (General Numbers, can provide PDF reports and example properties for specifics)- B-,C+, C, C-,  Neighborhoods- 3 Bedroom 1 bath 1,000 sqft- $50k-$85K purchase- Rent $800-$1200- Very Light, Light, or moderate rehabs- ROI (12%-18%)- $200-$400 cash flow per door.

You should find yourself a good CPA who works with investors on both sides of the border. 

So... we are exploring options south of the border for our next purchase.

Does anyone have any experience with partnering across borders and how that can be structured?

I was wondering whether any of you have experience investing out of province within Canada or across the border in the US.
