@Tyrese George I don't think the configuration is that big of a deal but it may be a consideration depending on your market.

In addition, that configuration will be more popular as a rental unit.

We are currently configured as a duplex (1-2/1 unit and 1-3/1 unit), with the potential market rent totaling $3600, it far beats the 1% rule by a mile.

One thing to note about a metal building is that this picture depicts a gable style building, but the pieces can easily be re-configured to form a single slope or lean-to structure.An item not listed on this page and one I see mentioned in several posts are the clear heights and what that actually is on a metal building.

Changing inside configuration? 

For instance, a bedroom that is at the end of a hallway, and which doesn't share walls with any other bedrooms or common areas provides a lot more privacy than a room that shares a wall with a common bathroom, a second wall with another bedroom, and a third wall with a common area...a house that has 3 stories with only 1 bedroom on each story might provide more privacy than a house where all 3 bedrooms are on the same floor ....extra privacy usually results in less likelihood of disputes between housemates about issues like noise, messiness, etc....If you plan to rehab the property, sometimes, it's possible to re-configure the floorplan of a house in ways that create more privacy for each bedroom, add bathrooms, add separate entrances, and generally make the property more appealing for rent-by-the-room tenants.

If myself, if the fence is a standard shadow-box configuration, hence easy to scale, I'd invest the few hundred to get more slats to add to make a solid 6's flat face fence.
