Looking at business growth for our small Real Estate Team and what the primary objective will be for next year, goals supporting that objective, and what action plans will need to be initiated meet those goals.We set personal goals, family goals, and financial goals (business and personal).I have small daily goals I can easily meet and then set moderate 10 day goals to keep myself motivated (almost like a to do list).

: Owned these types of properties for 5+ years, at least at moderate scale (say at least 5+ of these houses).Netted 50%+ of the gross potential rent over this 5+ year period, after compensating yourself at least $20/hr for the time you've spent AND covering ALL maintenance that was incurred beyond your initial rehab (even if you capitalized it on your taxes)No regrets and has enjoyed managing these properties (or at least hasn't regularly wanted to bludgeon yourself) Color me just a tad skeptical, it sounds GREAT on paper, but the long term reality?

Cashflow is king, but you are also still building long term wealth even without factoring in appreciation.All of our properties in Seattle cash-flow- we put 5-20% down (no 3% loans), have always done moderate to significant repairs/rehabs, and buy in the nicer South Seattle neighboorhoods (North Beacon Hill, Admiral District of West Seattle, Central District).
