The only thing I can think of that may be harder to deal with if I am not local is routine maintenance issues, but I was thinking I can just ask around for some handy man referrals to have at the ready in case those smaller issues arise, while I would instruct our future tenants to contact our service provider for any emergency issues.

On the resort site when you go to the link provided in the email it takes you to Edge where it asks for a group name and then your email address (which is different than the instructions in the email).

Not sure on IRA management, but caution you to check with a CPA and Tax Attorney as this might be considered a "withdrawal" by the IRS which means penalties, if not handled correctly.I am not an attorney or CPA, but when I was seeking to use my funds for a business investment (franchise purchase), I was instructed to use a self-directed 401k structure (I am the 401k manager) and then direct the funds to invest in a C-Corp that I own.

Also, numbers higher than 10 get lost on some people when glancing, so don't exceed the number of fingers people have if you want it to be intuitive and simple without explanation or instructions.

For the benefit of the forum, things to watch out for when dealing with scammers are: 1) double-check the email address used to send the email; 2) always be cautious of any instructions sent over email and not from a secure link/source; 3) read through the message in its entirety to spot any formatting errors or duplicate email signatures, etc.; 4) when in doubt, call the person in question using a number found online/another source to see if they indeed sent the message; 5) ALWAYS call to confirm wire instructions right before transferring funds, even if you called to confirm them before.
