Cashflow is the #1 goal and we only invest in buildings that we would be comfortable having our daughters live in. 

House HackingShould I look for a duplex, a single family turned into a mother/daughter, or just look for a great deal on a single family and turn it into a rental myself?

My daughter lives in San Francisco and rents are dropping there.

For me at this point  I grew up in a real estate family and my wife has been a high producing broker for 30 years now.And our kids are in the business well a few of them anyway.. our middle daughter is a very high producing agent in Vegas selling multi million dollar props and enjoying the commissions that come with them. so nothing to really hide other than we dont talk about bank balances..

My Fiancee and I would love to house hack something here, especially where daughter is a Freshman at MHS. 

PS I had to go to Hollywood this week to pick up youngest daughter .. drove from Vegas and back in one day.. forgot how insane the LA traffic is..

We currently have a 4 year old son from Eastern Europe, a 7 year old daughter from South America, and a 13 year old daughter from Eastern Europe.

Personal goals: Spend quality time with 14 year old daughter, exercise regularly, continue to personalize and enjoy the beautiful home we bought this year, spend time at vacation home (when we are not renting it out!)

My daughter is in high level finance at Intel and explained the whole reasoning with the move to Ohio.. good things will happen in and around the new facility for sure..
