Treat people right and don't roll up in a $100K sports car to meet tenants.

My name is Jackie - I am a born and raised Cleveland sports fan, especially the Cavs... and thank God we finally got a championship trophy. :)I am new to investing, though I have held a rental property for the last several years.

On a personal note, I am a workaholic who is also obsessed with sports (trail running and cycling), good food and traveling (I am working on my 5th continent to visit, this month baby!).

So after calling 15+ contractors, over half not showing up to even give me a quote, the half that did show up only 2 gave me quotes, the one I hired ended up being a **** bag and I let him go.I got so sick of trying to throw my money at someone to do this that I spent $700, bought all the tools I needed, and did the work myself.

(I like MFR)-It's got some great stuff going for it - one of the best medical facilities in THE WORLD, two of the best sports teams in the country (Cavs and Indians), rock and roll hall of fame, several fortune 500 HQ's, a flourishing arts/culture/music scene, and the infrastructure of what was once one of the richest cities in the world. 

In my case, it was the thought of driving around in a brand new Lexus IS250 F-Sport 2015.

In fact before real estate I was into sports investment and stocks.

College Sports are amazing.  

My first thought was tea bagging AND not in a political way.

I did it myself many years ago and it was messy (back then, they didn't have the bag that caught the sawdust) time consuming, and smelly!
