i asked them what they were doing and they said theyre making sure they can comfortably live there lol (mind you its a 2000 sf property with 4 beds, 2 baths, full basement). they called back in a week to see if they could come tape off areas to see where their furnitures going to go...thank god the place was already rented by then.

If there were a serious insurance claim, god forbid human injury or loss of life, and they do the same research discovering the non-conforming construction of habitable space, why would they bail you out?

And God forbid the investor appreciates that "time is money" enough to get some guys to moonlight on weekends so that work is getting done 7 days a week.I am only witnessing this from a far... my only guess is that if the investor bought the house with cash, he can carry it for awhile before it's too costly.
