I've found that with contractors in the rental remodel space often use subpar products that fail quickly (within weeks or months).

Perhaps you will sell and everything will turn out OK this time, but you will have still failed and been rescued by nothing more than luck.When you place someone's home under contract, they believe that their house will be sold and act in reliance on that fact.

Modular has struggled to get away from the "manufactured home" label here in the USA but the industry is producing a product that is comparable or better in quality than site-built.
