I knew of a guy who lived in a mobile home in a park, he was worth millions, because he had no debt, he eventually bought the mobile home park and a dealership. there is risk involved living in these areas, I am the type that would consider it, my wife is reluctant, but would at least consider if safety wasn't an issue. right now I cant qualify for a mortgae for another home, not because of credit or income but because I dont have enough equity in my primary res.
