we have basements and there is a "subgrade" flooring everywhere in the stores. just tell them what the application is and they will tell you which one can be used.2 ways i'd go though:1. vinyl that looks and feels like wood (would fake almost anyone)2. you can put tyvek house wrap underneath and no moisture will ever hit the wood.

Because can buy it in some stores in Florida and they don't ask any questions.

To those who defend it even when illegal, you might as well justify going into the store and stealing because you don't feel like paying for food...But even when, I consider it a lowlife and disrespectable way to go about doing things.

My exceptions are the big box stores.

Check your local Habitat For Humanity Re-Store, they sell donated items, new and used.

All interim assignments and allonges are recorded and stored in file.

Check IKEA for cabinets, and other big box stores.

For sake of argument, you might get a travel type at the dollar store and just put it in there.....

The good thing about the sofit is the previous owner stored all the left over building materials in the detached garage.

So, if it doesn't cost you any more for representation, why would you not do so and accept more liability when you can transfer such liabillities.Besides, the agent is going to take you in their car, buy you lunch, lets you stop at the store for a minute, maybe even walk your dog, so why not use them?
